At the Lara Museum, we welcome visits from school groups of grade 2 and above, and we have a team of volunteer members who provide rotational group activities for visiting classes. The nature of the activities provided can relate to a general overview of life in Lara during its early history, or they can be tailored to relate to current themes being studied by the children. Our Schools’ Co-ordinator will liaise with the co-ordinating teacher prior to the visit, so that the program offered will meet the school’s requests. To cover some of the cost involved in running this program we ask for a $2 per child donation.
